The Rules

The list is dynamic

once I add one to my current list I must see it to completion before I can add a new goal

no more than 10 goals can be on my short list at once

 

Gotta start somewhere.

At the time I’m writing this post my options are pretty limited in the bucket list department. I am underemployed, out of shape, over weight, socially awkward, and broke. Not to mention, I have very low self-esteem and at times I feel I have depression. Some of these goals seem crazy but I intended them to be that way. If it’s not crazy then it’s not big enough. I am not saying all of these things to have some sort of pity party but to give a point of reference of where I am starting to prove that anybody can do it if I can.

All this being said, I believe there are a few items on my list I can achieve with very little money that will make it easier to accomplish more of my goals later. The primary goal I am working on is running a marathon.

Running a marathon is on my list but training for it will help me get in shape and give me more self-confidence. It’s also part of a triathlon, so even when I finish the marathon it will only be part of the process of training for that.

I will also be making saur kraut. I’ve made 3 batches so far. The first was underfermented and over salted. The second made me sick. and the 3rd was over fermented. I’m getting it down but it takes about 6 weeks for each batch so it takes a while.

There are a couple of other things I can start working on but I haven’t decided which ones yet. I will keep you posted on my progress.
